My relationship with art shifts quite a bit. I was an active painter in college days, then moved on to other things – namely decorative arts, then gilding, then framing. A few years back the light bulb went on: I make picture frames, and spend my summers in a place where people come from all over to paint. Perhaps it was time to pick up the brushes again!
Between classes at Worcester Art Museum, painting “plein air” with other artists, and involvement with the Artist Guild of Shrewsbury, I have been more involved with painting and drawing than I had been in years.
