Figure Drawing at the Worcester Art Museum

For the past few years the Worcester Art Museum has been offering figure drawing in the galleries on Thursday afternoons. A model is provided, along with a facilitator from the WAM teaching staff. There are usually a number of short poses (one to two minutes each) as a warm up, then the poses become progressively longer.

This has been a great opportunity for me to improve these skills, and now incorporate figures in my paintings. Here are some of the sketches from this past week’s session.
